Examples:

Fajita Salad with Creamy Salsa Dressing
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Hooks U Salsa
3/4-lb. beef flank steak or boneless, skinless chicken breasts or peeled and deveined shrimp
2 medium red and/or yellow bell peppers, quartered
1 medium zucchini, sliced
1 medium red onion, cut into wedges and skewered
2 tablespoon olive oil
Lettuce leaves
8-inch flour tortillas
Directions:
1. For Creamy Salsa Dressing, combine Mayonnaise and Hooks U Salsa; set aside.
2. Lightly brush beef, red peppers, zucchini and onion with Olive Oil. Grill or broil beef and vegetables until beef is desired doneness and vegetables are tender.
3. Cut beef and red peppers into strips. To serve, arrange beef and vegetables over lettuce and tortillas on serving platter. Serve with Creamy Salsa Dressing.
"Fast and tasty Guacamole"
Mix desired number of avocados (crushed) with desired consistensy of Hooks U Salsa, add little lemon and salt to taste.
Hooks U Quick Draw Chili
(See this recipe on the bottle)
1 lbs of ground beef (lean)
1 bottle of Hooks U Salsa
1 6oz tomato paste
1 4oz can Green Chiles
1&1/2 tspn of salt
1&1/2 tspn of cayenne pepper (more or less to your heat comfort)
Brown the ground beef, add the rest of the ingredients, simmer for 30 minutes or so. It's great the next day!
Options:
*You could add your favorite can of beans.
*you can use it on fritos with cheese (heat) and chopped onions some ketchup for a frito pie.
*It is also great on spaghetti like they do in Cincinnati.
*For a party you can mix the chili with velveeta cheese and heat as a dip.
*This chili is also great in tacos or burritos with sour cream & the rest.
Hooks U Chicken Enchilada Casserole
1 lb. of cooked shredded Chicken
1 cup of Hooks U Salsa
1 10 oz. can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 10 oz.can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 10 oz. can Enchilada Sauce
1 4 oz can Green Chiles
1 Large Bag Torilla Chips (or you can use corn tortillas)
2 8 oz. Bags Shredded Mexican Cheeses (4 cups total)
Cook a whole chicken until done, or use precooked Fajita Chicken meat. Shred or dice all the chicken into small pieces. In a bowl
combine Hooks U Salsa, Cream of Mushroom, Cream of Chicken, Enchilada Sauce and Green Chiles and stir. In a large casserole
dish pour the Tortilla Chips to form a solid layer accross the bottom of the dish. You may press the chips down to form an even layer.
Sprinkle half the cooked chicken over the chips. Pour half of the sauce mixture over the chicken. Top with one bag or 2 cups of cheese.
Repeat another chip layer, chicken layer, sauce layer using the rest of the chicken and sauce and top with the other bag of cheese.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes.
*Delicious topped with more Hooks U Salsa after served.
Spicy Lo-Cal Soup
1 Can Low Sodium Chicken Broth
1 Cup (or more) Hooks U Salsa
1 Can Fat Free Refried Beans
Heat on Stove until it comes to a slight boil. (10-15 Min. at Med-High heat)
*Optional: top with baked cheese crackers when served.
Simple and Delicious Eggplant Tapa
Cut up an eggplant and boil it to cook in a little water. Drain and mash it in a big bowl and add a cup to a bottle of Hooks U Salsa.
Add salt to your taste and cook some more to reduce. Eat with crackers, toasted little french bread circles , or just dip with chips.
